Cricket Wireless and its Authorized Retailers (ARs) are committed to inspiring smiles and lending a helping hand in the communities where we live and work.

We recently teamed up with the non-profit Hispanic Alliance GA– La Alianza  to distribute more than $2,000 in diapers to support families in Gainesville, GA. Over the course of the three-hour event, 200 families received free packages of diapers and wipes provided by Cricket and 400 families received free food provided by Hispanic Alliance GA. Additionally, leftover diapers from our donation were distributed daily after the event by Hispanic Alliance GA to more Hispanic families in need. The event was staffed by local Cricket AR Sun Com Mobile, LLC.

In Greenville, SC, we joined Young Afro-Excellence (YAE) to distribute more than $1500 in diapers to families in need. YAE’s mission is to provide young minority adults and teens guidance to reach their full potential. Over the course of the one-day event, 30 families stopped by the Laurens Rd Cricket AR store to receive free packages of diapers and wipes provided by Cricket and local Cricket AR Retail Group Investment, LLC.

At our Authorized Retailer Conference in Atlanta, GA, Cricket company leaders along with Cricket ARs volunteered to pack 1,000 snack bags which we distributed to six Boys & Girls Clubs of Metro Atlanta, ensuring kids and teens have access to meals after school hours.

Non-profit  Unidos Por La Musica (UPLM) recently selected Madison Li, Cricket senior marketing manager, and Luis Osegueda, Cricket territory sales manager, to each receive a UPLM Impact award. Every year UPLM honors local and national leaders who are making an impact in underserved communities of The Inland Empire, Calif. Both Li and Osegueda were selected because of their support for UPLM’s Bags of Hope Food Pantry program, on behalf of Cricket Wireless.

Our Southeast States market started a new relationship with non-profit L.E.A.D. Center for Youth. Based in Atlanta, GA, L.E.A.D. uses baseball to teach Black boys how to overcome three curveballs that threaten their success: crime, poverty and racism. Cricket provided the organization with money for grocery gift cards to give to two local families in need of food.

These are just a few ways Cricket and its Authorized Retailers are helping spread smiles for miles.
