Cricket continued the tradition of surprising and delighting Boys & Girls Clubs of America (BGCA) families during the holiday season. The 2023 12 Days of Cricket campaign marked the fifth year that Cricket Nation collaborated with Boys & Girls Club staff to create meaningful connections and spread smiles to Club members and their families across the nation. The annual holiday giving campaign benefitted 33 families and 465 individual Club members with gifts and financial support totaling $130,000 last year. We are proud of this impact and happy to have the support of Progressive Leasing supporting the mission again.Sweepstakes
Kicking off the week of World Kindness Day (November 13), our annual sweepstakes held between November 17 through January 4, 2024, gave participants the chance to win one of ten prize packages. With Motorola’s contribution, winners had a chance to receive a motorola razr in addition to $1,000.
HBCU Campus Ambassador
Cricket HBCU Campus Ambassador Sabrina from Bethune-Cookman University is also an alumna of John H. Henderson Boys & Girls Club in Daytona Beach, FL. As part of Cricket’s social give back program, she paid it forward to her former club by donating $1,000 and hosting a pizza party. Check out the senior’s full circle moment here.
WWE® Superstars
Four WWE® Superstars surprised Club members in Atlanta, Boston, Los Angeles and St. Louis. Big E™, Drew McIntyre® and BGCA Hall of Famers Kofi Kingston® and Xavier Woods® presented a WWE® Championship title, signed autographs, and helped distribute gifts. They also encouraged Club members and families to remain steadfast to their dreams.

We extended the holiday cheer to Santas within the metro Atlanta area. Working with Cherry Hill Program, a network of approximately 1,400 Santas, we surprised three Santas with a cellphone and a year of service. In addition, for every like, comment and share the video received Cricket pledged to donate up to $10,000 to Boys & Girls Clubs of America. A BIG thank you to Cricket Nation for giving with a cheerful heart and investing in tomorrow’s leaders.
Barbie Comes to Max
Since 2021, Cricket customers with the $60 Unlimited Plan experience iconic entertainment at the palms of their hands on Max. With the exclusive launch of Barbie on Max1, Cricket surprised 80 girls from Boys & Girls Club of Tampa Bay and Variety Boys & Girls Club in Los Angeles with a special gift. The S.M.A.R.T. Girls program members received their very own Barbie bundle gift package. The program is focused on health, fitness, education and self-esteem enhancement designed to meet the developmental needs of girls spanning from ages eight to 18.
12 Days of Cricket is a reminder of all the ways we aim to inspire smiles. In the 17 markets where our activations took place, Cricket Nation and recipients could not hold back the tears during these meaningful interactions.
Thank you to WWE®, Motorola, Progressive Leasing, our Authorized Retailers, BGCA representatives and Cricket Nation for coming together to execute another successful campaign. We look forward to sustaining strong ties with BGCA throughout the year.
