Domestic roaming occurs when your mobile device connects to a non-Cricket Wireless network (a third-party partner network) in the United States, Puerto Rico, or the U.S. Virgin Islands.

Alpha Tags
Cricket customers roam on many third-party partner networks and the alpha tag on the device changes names from "Cricket" to other names, like "Liberty" or simply "Roaming."

Cricket uses other carriers’ networks in specific roam zones to overlap the AT&T/Cricket network and fill coverage gaps.
