International Terms and Conditions

Additional Terms and Conditions Applicable to Mexico and Canada Roaming

• Not for extended international usage.


• You must reside in the US and your primary usage must occur in the United States. 


• Your device must register first on Cricket Wireless' network in the United States before roaming. 


• Calls and messaging (SMS and MMS) made from or received in Canada cannot exceed 50% of your usage of either service (voice or messaging) in any consecutive three month period. We may suspend, modify or terminate your wireless service, at our discretion, if any combination of voice or messaging roaming whether it occurs in Mexico or in Canada violates this rule.


• Cellular data usage in Canada cannot exceed 50% of your usage in any consecutive three-month period. We may suspend, modify or terminate your wireless service, at our discretion, if cellular data roaming violates this rule.


• Mexico and Canada Roaming will not allow you to place/receive calls or send/receive messages to all destinations, and the destinations which are available may change without notice. 


• Mexico and Canada Roaming coverage and service is not available everywhere. 


• Data Access service and speeds, while roaming in Mexico and Canada, are subject to the capabilities of the local service provider(s), your device and location. If you use roaming data services on wireless carrier networks other than AT&T Mexico, your data usage may be reduced to 2G speeds.


• A compatible device is required to use your device in Mexico and Canada. 


• Please consult the Cricket International support page or call 611 or 1-800-274-2538 for a list of currently available roaming carriers within Mexico and Canada. All carriers within Mexico may not be available and we may change roaming carriers without notice to you. Roaming coverage and services, and performance of these services are not guaranteed and are subject to change. International add-on features available with Rate Plans starting at $50 and above.

International add-on features available with Phone Service Rate Plans starting at $40/mo (including $50/mo+ grandfathered plans)

• Cricket International includes Unlimited International Texting, and Unlimited Calling from the US to landline numbers in the Cricket International countries listed below. The feature is available on a monthly recurring basis. Please add on the first day of your billing cycle for the best value and a full month of use. 


• Cricket International Extra includes Unlimited International Texting, Picture and Video Messaging, Unlimited Calling from the US to landline numbers, and 1,000 mobile-to-mobile minutes to wireless numbers in the Cricket International countries. The feature is available on a monthly recurring basis. Please add on the first day of your billing cycle for the best value and a full month of use.

Terms and Conditions Applicable to Cricket International and Cricket International Extra

• Cricket International and International Extra are available with Phone Service Cricket plans starting at $40/mo (including $50/mo+ grandfathered plans).


• Capabilities and performance vary by carrier. 


• Voice services are intended for your personal use and are provided for uninterrupted live dialog between two people and may not be resold, rebilled or used for commercial purposes. 


• You may not use voice services for purposes other than as intended by Cricket including, but not limited to: Monitoring services, transmissions of broadcasts or recorded materials, telemarketing, fraud, autodialed calls, call-forwarding or other similar connections. 


• Loaning or renting your wireless device to a third-party for their use is not considered personal use. 


• International text messages (SMS only) are limited to 160 characters per message and picture/video messages are limited to 1 MB (megabyte).  


• International message delivery is not guaranteed and messages, including downloaded content, not delivered within 3 days will be deleted. Cricket reserves the right to change this delivery period without notification. 


• Specific international calling countries, destinations, technologies, roaming, and carriers are subject to change without notice.


• Rates, services, features, and destinations are subject to change.


• Cricket's messaging services (including text, picture and video) is intended for personal non-commercial use and may not be used: To send messages that contain advertising or a commercial solicitation to any person or entity without their consent; that are bulk messages; are automatically generated; can disrupt Cricket's network; harass or threaten another person; interfere with another customer's use or enjoyment of Cricket's Services; generate significant or serious customer complaints, falsify or mask the sender/originator of the message; or violate any law or regulation.

• We will presume certain usage, dialing, or calling patterns indicate prohibited activities and that you are not using Cricket's Included International Services for your personal use. If in our sole discretion we reasonably believe that you are using Cricket's Included International Services in a prohibited manner, then we may without advance notice: terminate individual calls; suspend, cancel or terminate your terminate your account; and/or decline to renew your wireless service.

Cricket International and International Extra Countries list and available features:

• Cricket International includes unlimited calling to landlines in 35 countries.


• Cricket International Extra includes unlimited landline calling and picture and video (MMS) messaging to 35 countries, plus 1,000 minutes of mobile-to-mobile calling to 31 countries.


• Calls and texts must originate from the U.S.

*Northern Territories of Canada not included (area code 867 or Yukon, Northwest Territory, and Nunavut).
 

Individual Country Add-Ons available features:

Cricket allows you to place calls and send text/picture/video message to select destinations by adding individual country features to any $40 and above Phone Service Rate Plan. These features are available to all Cricket Wireless customers on a qualifying plan with a compatible device.

Select countries can be added individually by country, with the number of calling minutes varying by country. Please see the chart below for available countries, features available, and number of minutes provided for each country.

Cricket offers two ways to add Cricket International by country to your Cricket Wireless plans:

• Monthly Recurring Feature
  • Provides an allotment of minutes to call landline and mobile numbers
  • Provides unlimited text/picture/video messaging
  • Continues on your account until you stop paying for it or cancel the feature
• One Time Feature
  • Provides an allotment of minutes to call landline and mobile numbers
  • Provides unlimited text/picture/video messaging
  • Needs to be added every month
  • Can be added as many times as needed during the month to get more calling minutes
  • As of August 4, 2017, one-time features may not be available for all countries

  All minutes must be used in the current billing cycle and do not carry over to the next month. For the best value, please consider adding individual countries to your account at the beginning of your bill cycle.

  Your airtime is charged in full-minute increments, and actual usage is rounded up to the next full-minute increment at the end of each call. We charge a full minute of airtime usage for every fraction of the last minute of airtime used. Airtime begins for outgoing calls when you press SEND (or similar key) and for incoming calls when a signal connection from the caller is established with our facilities. Airtime ends after you press END (or similar key), but not until the disconnect signal is received by our facilities and confirmed.
